We will travel within a 25 mile radius of Plainfield, Illinois. If you are further than 25 miles away from our location there will be an additional trip charge.

Yes, our mobile detailing van has a generator, and water tank on board. We are fully self sufficient, and have all the necessary equipment to get the job done.

Yes, after you book an appointment, you will receive an appointment confirmation of the time, and date of your appointment. We will email, and text you our digital Acknowledgment Form regarding our detailing process. Please complete the digital Acknowledgment Form before your appointment.
South Side Detail will text you 48 hours before your appointment to reconfirm the appointment time, and date.
We will also text you when we are on the way, the day of your appointment.

Yes, a $50.00 deposit is required. The $50.00 deposit will be applied to the total cost of the services completed. We will email, and text you a link to pay the deposit online. We accept credit card payments for deposits paid online, and/or cash for deposits paid in person.

Please remove all personal belongings from the interior. We do not want to misplace, or lose any of your items. Removing all personal belongings will also ensure we efficiently return your completed car to you in the estimated time we originally quoted you.
Please remove all loose garbage items such as water bottles, food wrappers, old receipts, etc.
An additional charge will be applied to the total cost of service if multiple personal belongings, and/or garbage are left in the interior.
Please remove all child car seats from the interior before your appointment.
South Side Detail will not remove, or unbuckle child car seats from the car, we do not clean child car seats, due to safety concerns, and liability. If any child car seats are left in the car we will clean around them.

We will text you when we have arrived at your location. A quick inspection of your car will be performed, and we will confirm with you the services we will be performing. If it is a sunny day we may also set up our canopy so we are not working in direct sunlight.

Before your appointment we will monitor the weather forecast. If it is raining, snowing, strong winds, or too cold/ hot to detail outside we will have to reschedule.
